Ceramix at the Owl- Special Events

In addition to our regular business hours, the studio may also be reserved for private parties and special events.

The studio regularly hosts children's birthday parties, bridal showers, ladies nights, school/camp excursions and private parties sponsored by religious, business and civic organizations. To plan an event customized for your needs, please inquire at (516) 374-5707

Children's Birthday Parties

1 ½ hours of total Creativity and Fun!
(Please note for kosher parties, see below)

Select either of two party packages:

Ceramic Party: (birthday child pre-selects from among 4 options)

-One hour of painting time (leaves ½ hour for “dining”)

-Paints, brushes and other supplies
-Glazing and firing of pieces

These projects must remain in the studio to be glazed and fired.
The projects are ready to be picked up two weeks from the party date.

Tie Died Tee Shirt Party

Each child creates a tie died shirt and decorates a take home bag. These projects go home on the party date.

In addition to the Projects, both party packages include:

Experienced and helpful staff

Invitations
Paper goods
Balloon decorations
Birthday Cake

Pizza, Soda
Goody Bag

$25/child for ceramic party
$22/child for tie died tee shirt party

Minimum: 10 children Maximum: 33 children

Notes: For kosher parties, we can obtain kosher pizza and candy for our goody bags.
Our cakes, however, are not glatt kosher. The birthday family should bring their own cake (and knife).
Only flour cakes please, we have no freezer for ice cream cakes.

These are “drop off” parties.

We require a final count for billing purposes 5 days prior to the party.

Gratuities of $10 per staff member are added to the bill
(parties are usually staffed at a ratio of 1 staff to 5 guests)
